What a lovely experience visiting Bradley's Jewellers in Harrogate over the weekend.
Following a conversation with Mrs Bradley (Janet) earlier that morning, she suggested we come to visit the store in Harrogate as they had a more varied selection of the style of ring mum was looking for.
My mum, dad and I were warmly greeted by a charming gentleman who we came to know as Stuart. He was able to show a varied selection to help mum choose that special piece she was looking for to celebrate her 60th birthday/upcoming 30th wedding anniversary. He couldnt have been any more helpful and humorous, and thanks to him and 'Mrs B' we all came to a mutual agreement on the perfect design.

We would highly recommend Bradley's (especially Harrogate!) as a jewellers if you are wanting to treat yourself or a loved one.
Additionally, you will experience a personal service from a dedicated family business.
Love Gillian , Jonathan and Kathryn Eccles xx

Bradley's jewellers in Harrogate. My son needed a new battery for his Tissot Watch. They asked for a £20 deposit and would get back with a quote for a cost of the service. They said it would probably cost between £65 and £95 and the £20 would be part of the cost. They rang back later and quoted the upper end. On reflection we decided that we wouldn't use them as we would use a jeweller we knew and trusted. Today we went in to collect the watch, and I was asked by the infamous Mrs B****** how much we'd been quoted by the other jeweller. I didn't feel inclined to let her know so politely refused to tell her. Clearly she wasn't happy. After we left my son said they hadn't given his £20 back so I returned to the shop and asked for an explanation from Mrs B******. "It was for admin charges" she said, raising her voice. I asked her not to raise her voice. "What did the admin charge cover?" I asked politely. She didn't feel inclined to tell me. "A call to Tissot can't possibly cost £20 and anyway as a dealer you will know what changing a battery would cost!" I said. She told me I was very rude, to which I responded she exploits young people and she should be ashamed. I advised her that I'd be writing to Tissot and that I would ask people to be very vigilant when dealing with her in the future. She and her business have provided very dubious services to quite a few people I know and I for one will never use her or her Swarovski shop in Harrogate again. The problem with people like this is they lack integrity and therefore should never be trusted. We did not get our £20 back. Clearly I will be taking this further. It's a principle thing rather than the money! Plus she's messing with the wrong mother!!!
