Great Garage and friendly staff, been using them for the past 4 months and have no complaints so far. I saw the old review above and felt the need to post something more up to date as this doesn't reflect the current staff/ business I've dealt with - perhaps this was a long time ago though as after speaking with the staff I think the management has changed a couple of times. Anyway will keep this review up to date, I'm planning on using them going forward!

I had been using Omnius Auto Centre in Bonnybridge for a few years and although I suspected substandard workmanship, it's like any Garage how do you prove it until they make a mistake... Anyway they did screw up big time and as usual it's all nicey, nicey until something goes wrong then they don't want to know and blame someone else...

They swapped my 2 front wheels with my back two as one of the front one had a slight buckle and it caused a vibrating action through the steering wheel. I picked up my van later that day. They didn't alter the tyre pressure when they swapped the wheels around so the front ended up at 28 PSI (should have been 36PSI) and the back ended up being 36 PSI (should have been 28). Neither did they tighten up the wheels nuts on the near side.

There were a number of other smaller issues about what they did but these are fairly insignificant given the above. Anyway I collected my van later that day and drove back to Edinburgh about 3 miles into my journey there was a severe knocking sound - It was my front near side wheel almost had come off.

H however driving it in a loose state meant that the bolts had reshaped the holes to an egg shape meaning I had to get a new alloy wheel. Off course OMNIUS didn't want to know! I couldn't believe my eyes when I read "It could have been loosened by someone after you left the garage'. Of course someone would loosen the bolts while in transit. Anyway folks mistakes can happen we all know that, but it's how you deal with them that makes all the difference. SHAME ON YOU OMNIUS!!

My only option is now to take legal action against them costing me more money for their cockup so needless to say I'm not happy at their approach If you are considering using them make sure you scrutinise everything they have done. Including the invoice.

They even changed me for bulbs that I provided and they still havent refunded me...
